I rarely stay indoors if it’s raining. I adore the atmosphere and mood of a rainy day, and the best light often comes after or before the storm, so this has helped me greatly develop my own style. That said, I hardly go out and shoot if it’s warm and sunny.

Also, you were right in saying our homes are a treasure trove of photographic opportunity. I have some flowers in a corner of my flat, and there are gigantic windows in that corner. So, early in the morning, when the sun is rising, my flowers gets this beautiful shaft of sunlight. A perfect photographic opportunity.
