In some places tripods are not allowed due in part to the shear number of people visiting such a place.

There are whole tutorials on brigntening pictures so no problem, but it’s good to get it right in the camera, too.

I use it all the time. I started using it for taking birds with my 300mm lens on my pansonic lumix G6. I haven’t seen any comments about using this. Does anyone have any? I realise its not the same as a remote control shutter release or a tripod but I haven’t (yet) got those bits of kit (or researched the panasonic possibilities of getting a rcsr).

Vibrations from the unit when you press the shutter button can and will transferred to your photo, it is made to move a element inside the lens to compensate for the hand movement when you activate your camera
